Dr. Jeffrey Port earned his Doctor of Medicine degree with honors from the University of Illinois. He then completed his internship and residency at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. To further specialize, he pursued a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Chicago.
In addition to his medical training, Dr. Port is a board-certified gastroenterologist through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also a certified medical examiner. As a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, he is actively engaged in advancements in his field.
Dr. Port treats a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. However, he has a special interest in swallowing disorders (dysphagia) and fatty liver disease. Additionally, he also takes an interest in inflammatory bowel disease, which includes ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.
With his strong academic background and years of experience, Dr. Port provides compassionate and high-quality care to his patients.
