Dr. Jeffrey Port earned a Doctor of Medicine degree with honors from the University of Illinois. He continued his education and training with an internship and residency from the Ohio State University College of Medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology from the University of Chicago. He is also a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Port has achieved a board certification in Gastroenterology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also a certified medical examiner. While Dr. Jeffrey Port treats all types of gastrointestinal conditions and disorders, he takes special interest in swallowing problems (dysphagia), inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease), and fatty liver disease.
