Dr. Atassi earned his medical degree from the University of Damascus Faculty of Human Medicine in 1993. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Indiana University Health in 1999 and pursued a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Johns Hopkins University in 2002.
Dr. Atassi specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including GERD/acid reflux, ulcer disease, pancreatic disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer screening, irritable bowel syndrome, liver disease, and biliary disorder.
