Dr. Douglas Lee earned his medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School and followed with an internal medicine residency and fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is also the co-chair of the Moderate Sedation Committee and the chair of the Digestive Health Initiative at Silver Cross Hospital. Dr. Douglas Lee is board-certified in Gastroenterology. While Dr. Lee treats all types of gastrointestinal conditions and disorders, he takes special interest in swallowing disorders, stomach infection and disorders, pancreatic disease, liver disease, GERD/Acid Reflux, liver biopsy, gastritis, lactose intolerance, irritable bowel syndrome, gallstones, and inflammatory bowel disease.
