Dr. Charles Berkelhammer completed his medical education at the University of Toronto and then went to the University of Chicago for residency. He is a clinical professor at the University of Illinois and has written over 50 articles. He was listed in the “Top Doctors” list in the Chicago Magazine in 2001, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. He has received 15 Teacher of the Year awards. He is a multi-board certified doctor with board certifications in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
