Dr. Rockford G. Yapp’s education and training include medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center with training at Cornell University; Cook County Hospital; Shiprock Northern Navajo Medical Center in New Mexico, and Nairobi, Kenya. He completed his residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, then went to Yale University for his Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowships. Dr. Yapp also earned his Master’s in Public Health in medical research and worked as an attending at Yale. Dr. Yapp is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

My primary focus is communicating and understanding my patient’s needs to provide them with the best and most advanced treatments available, and when it is needed, compassion and help with the challenges and difficulties that digestive diseases sometimes cause.
