Dr. Rockford Yapp is dedicated to understanding and communicating with his patients to ensure they receive the most advanced and effective treatments available. He provides compassionate support to help his patients navigate the challenges and difficulties that often accompany digestive diseases.

Dr. Yapp’s education and training include medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center with training at Cornell University, Cook County Hospital, Shiprock Northern Navajo Medical Center in New Mexico, and Nairobi, Kenya. He completed his residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, then went to Yale University for his Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowships. He also earned his Master’s in Public Health in medical research. He is board-certified in Gastroenterology.

While Dr. Rockford Yapp treats all kinds of gastrointestinal issues, he has a keen interest in colon cancer screening, liver disease, hepatology, advanced endoscopy, complex esophageal disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and GI and liver cancers.
