Dr. Sean Lee believes that good digestive health plays a key role in overall well-being. He focuses not only on treating conditions but also on restoring each patient’s quality of life. His goal is to help patients feel better, live fully, and stay healthy for the long term.
Dr. Lee began his medical journey at Northwestern University, where he earned his undergraduate degree. Then, he went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Illinois. Following this, he completed both his internal medicine residency and his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Illinois, building a strong foundation in digestive health care.
In addition, Dr. Lee maintains an active relationship with the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. This ongoing involvement allows him to stay up to date with the latest advancements in his field. He has a special focus on hepatology and advanced endoscopic techniques, including ERCP.
Although Dr. Lee treats a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, he has a strong interest in general endoscopy, gastroparesis, and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Through his expertise and patient-centered approach, he works to deliver personalized and effective care to every individual he sees.
